Hey erk! I recognize you from your work on the Capital Wasteland project (and apparently all the others)! I have yet to play this map as I haven’t touched my computer in a while. Judging by what I’ve seen so far, I like it! However, as it is meant to be a military base, might I suggest adding some props from the Frontline pack to add some flavour? A few ammo boxes, crates or something? I was actually looking at the image showing the passageway right in front of the base’s entrance, and it looks a little cramped. Might I suggest replacing the left rock with some sandbags and a jeep or something to add some temporary cover and create some space? Oh, and this isn’t incredibly important, but are you planning on adding any Fallout-related Easter eggs? The second I saw the goo vats I immediately thought of placing the Voodoo Engineer’s left hand in one of them to replicate that game-over scene from Fallout 1. Maybe placing the Pip-Boy in the caves area by a skeleton? Lastly, a short gameplay/fly-through video would work wonders for displaying how the map operates (perhaps some “Vats of Goo” playing in the background?). These are all just suggestions, but they could go a long way to ensuring that this map gets back onto the front page! From one Fallout fan to another, I’d love to see something we both enjoy get the limelight! Here’s hoping Valve adds more Fallout-themed cosmetics in the near future! There’s plenty of them out there!

great feedback thank you!

The way the tf2 map workshop works is that at a certain point if a map doesnt have enough votes before a certain amount of time it will never be on the front page. Unfortunately, nothing will make this go to the front page.
No problem! That’s a real shame. Hopefully this map and many others (Extinction, Oilchange, Jerrycan, etc.) will go the way of Cashworks and Haarp and be added later on. Who knows, maybe we’ll get lucky.
