Stat idea
-10% movement speed

-20% max HP

Hitting a enemy with the compass will highlight them through walls longer distance shots will increase the duration of this effect

idea:
-10% jump height
-10% movement speed
-20% damage penalty

Right-click an enemy to mark them for death and highlight them for your team for 5 seconds. You cannot deal minicrits to the enemy, but your team can. 30 second cooldown. Highlighting a Spy will not mark them for death, but still highlight them even if they cloak or disguise. Already cloaked or disguised spies cannot be highlighted.

(For context, the right click would play a slight whistle sound to teammates, and you wouldn't throw the compass, it'd just apply the effects on the enemy of choice)

I like this...
just make it a wrap assassin reskin....
Upsides:
Alt-Fire: fire the cloak.
On Hit: reveal and enemies location for 3 seconds.
+20% faster ball recharge speed (compared to Sandman since it was the first)

Downsides:
25% less damage on both bat and ball
No Random Crits (i know its not a real downside but i doubt values removing it soon.)

The main gimmick of scout is that he is fast, and he also has a very low amount of health at base, both of these modifiers would make scout unplayable. I feel like highlighting players through walls is NOT a good enough of an upside for such downsides.

I think the idea I had in mind was a more mid/long range support scout Pairing this item with either longer ranged primaries and support secondaries but thinking on it more the downsides are indeed to harsh. I do wanna keep the highlight effect given the theme maybe as a bonus you deal Crits to highlighted targets? so you either can use it as a support tool or as a way to pick of targets easier
This weapon is kind of a straight upgrade to the Sandman. I mean, the compass has it's own unique mesh so it doesnt bounce and roll as much!
