Your Only Move Is HUSTLE

Valued - The Strongest of Today [PUBLIC BETA]
My thoughts on Valued because I couldn't fit it into a comment
Genuinely phenomenal moveset for Gojo. I've been keeping an eye on the JJK movesets that are kinda everywhere in YOMI and this one right here absolutely outdid itself even for a PB.

I love how Valued's normals, they are very meaty and good for punishing and converting into combos off said punishes, if anything, that's what I think is the most powerful aspect of his entire kit, every normal feels perfect in terms of strength while also feeling like it's something Gojo would do.

I quite love the implementation of Red and Blue and how unique of a resource it is. At first I was skeptical at the idea of tying an important resource to meter but with how fast Valued gains meter it feels like there is very little downtime. The imbue mechanic also is really neat but I feel Red and Purple could be a little bit more interesting than they are. I don't really know what it could be but them ultimately just being an automatic black flash with enhanced damage feels vastly less interesting than blue being able to pull enemies closer.

The new specials that are gained with red and blue are also quite fun to play around. Learning how the mult blue field can be pushed with red which sets up some diabolical chip damage scenarios is awesome. There's in general a lot of natural synergies with red and blue to where I find myself constantly learning new interactions with each other and am amazed at the technical work that's being done behind the scenes to make that happen.

I do find red to be a little less likely to be picked than blue, however. Blue is very versatile, allowing Valued to close the gap, have chip damage, area denial, improved mobility, and such but with Red I find myself only using it for trying to push enemies away that really doesn't do much in grant scheme of things. This is a public beta so maybe there's more moves or adjustments planned that I'm unaware of but for now I find myself a little underwhelmed at the power of red in comparison to blue.

My biggest gripe is with the mobility. Valued feels very VERY limited at times with his movement to where it feels he can never weave in or out of a given scenario Having a walk and a warp isn't bad but there's a lot of limited options with it, like how I have to amplify the warp in order to move backwards, or finding it frustrating how Valued can't walk back to correct spacing and such. If maybe there were more ways to move back than having to use a dodge or backwards jump it would feel nicer and makes Valued feel much less vulnerable when being dealt with long-midrange pressure.

With all that said, I absolutely adore Valued! I'm excited to see what the future of this character is going to look like when he jumps from beta to a full release! I'm actively checking everyday to see if he got any changes because this guy is just THAT cool. Absolute slam dunk of a YOMI design.

Blue pull, throw it up and as long as your opponent is in range depending on the chant level, they'll get sucked in when you detonate it.

From mu understanding with it upon detonation it will pull the opponent to it. Using Mult blue instead will cause the detonation to deal chip damage. A reply here mentions the levels of the chants will cause them to either pull better or deal more damage (I'm pretty sure).

Ah that makes sense. At times the pull can feel a little inconsistent so I could never tell if actually did or not. Thanks for the tip!
