I promised some friends I'd do Imperial, next. Let me know if you have any feature requests for the mod.
Yes, of course! It's still on the table.
Bonuses to Light Armour (a merchant rides light to carry more goods to sell), One Handed bonuses as well to compliment that, and of course a boost in Speech (possibly paired with Illusion). the only one that would REALLY need to have an experience boost would be speech, though for the others, it could be easy to deem necessary.
If at all possible with Steam File size restraints, it might be worth looking into having them start with the ability to bribe guards (adding in a new voice option with guard-type characters which is just a copy-paste of the thieves guild one, but which instead checks race, rather than faction and then rewriting that message slightly differently to accomodate the imperial)
Though I know this last one may be far too ambitious.
It might also be worth giving the imperial a couple base illusion spells and an illusion spell discount.
Basically... go for a smooth talker feel with some emphasis on avoiding combat unless necessary and with a larger emphasis on trade and gold.
I almost always play Imperials (unless I am Role-playing my character a specific way) and would very much enjoy seeing an A.R.T. for them.
