Team Fortress 2

Team Fortress 2

The Poacher's Pride
Not really Sniper-like.
Does anyone else think that this no-scope kind of weapon encourages a run-and-gun gameplay unlike the Sniper? I know that he has the Huntsman, but you at least would have to charge that up before taking a shot. With this, it seems you could just go in, blow two peoples heads-off, and run out. I can see it getting the poor fragile Sniper mangled a lot.

They added the Gunslinger. They added the Blutsauger. They added demo shields. I see no reason why they wouldn't add this.
Bazzar bargin has no scope so this sniper is amost the same apart from the stats suggested.

This could be useful to some of us who the scope caues more trouble than it does help. The vast majority of TF2 maps are far too small for scope in action to be effective.

Ithink it is not very sniper like but i still love the idea

This weapon has a scope. If you actually paid attention, you would see it is in the middle of the barrels. It is only small, but still there.

That's not a scope, that's an iorn sight, you dingus.

Actaully... That iron sight... Kinda made a joke of it because the sight is modeled off of the Russian Mosin Nagant's "eternal optimism" Sight... Which had it so you could adjust it to shoot things at 2000 meters!... Hehehe... Good luck.

What can you expect but stupidity from people with private profiles?

Ah, right. My bad. I did mean sight, not scope. That is an error of mine, shouldn't be writing while half asleep. Still, even though it might not 'scope' it could zoom ever so slightly. As for being able to kill two people with two headshots in a quick manner, I'm sure quick shots would not do the standard 150 damage. It might only do something like 100. So a fully charged one would do 300. Only just enough to kill a heavy without overheal. There might even be a slight delay between shots or even a bit of recoil to take into consideration.
If that is the case, the Huntsman would be far more run and gun since you can kill a Scout, Spy and Engineer without charging the bow at all, so long as you get a headshot.

Your logic is horrible.

I agree. If the put it in as discribed right now that is exactly what I would do with it. Boom, boom SMG finish. I wouldn't even bother aiming for head shots just go for body shots like the Demoman's Loch-and-Load but easier with fast no arc bullets.

It may be to big of a game changer.

well,Sniper also used bows that had the same gameplay type because there was no zoom, soo guess this gun is ok for sniper '-'
