Orbital manufacturer and toxic waste dump
Spacer-tech raider transport base
Hive asteroid-ship
Space tribals

Genetic experimentation lab.

Full of hostile pawns with a random collection of genes (weighted towards the horrific and combat-oriented)

The loot is genepacks and high-end genetics equipment.

sangophage blood harvesting station, it would have a bunch of naked baseliners and a few powerful sangophages

asteroid with meaty veins and a dreadmeld at the core
AI operated orbital cannon or factory

- trader ship who's mechinoid personal have gone haywire and are attacking any lifeforms onboard.

- cargo cult tribal raiders who found a mostly intact ship and are going around raiding with their "metal sky god."

- abandoned asteroid mining base left to rot after the life support system broke down. only leaving mine ore, barley functional defenses and bodies of those too unfortunate to escape.

- old space pirate berried treasure deep in a Asteroid, could have an ambush with another group looking to steal it for themselves.
meat asteroid like the one luigipunch mentioned is a cool idea

Royal Empire Observatory - Luxurious orbital site hosting powerful nobles, basically a space resort, heavily guarded by Empire troops (Hussars in cataphract) with a vault near the center to store the valuables of any notable visitors (unique weapons, psylink neuroformers, gold, royal clothing, silver, masterwork/legendary books, basically anything rare or unique)
The layout would be a mix between a resort and a research station, with a circular design, the outer area of the circle being dedicated to recreation areas, bedrooms, gardens, walkways, etc. and the inner area being for a vault, hydroponics, research rooms, production facilities, guard bunks, an armory, etc.

Space carps of course!
Orbital Biosphere. An asteroid with an internal environment, archite trees and plants clustered around some kind of light and heat source, possibly a crashed gravship with a leaking core. You could crack it quick and dirty to get the biomass, or build an airlock to try and harvest the plants slowly over time
I feel like Odyssey and Anomaly can complement each other really well. Although odyssey has been great, one complaint I've seen is that the space exploration can be lacking. Anomaly can fill this niche perfectly. An anomaly space encounter shouldn't reveal/hint which anomaly it is, so it makes investigating it unique and more engaging as you can't over prepare for a specific entity, and you don't get bored with the same encounters

Maybe it's just a station full of cultists. Or maybe it turns out they're worshiping the golden cube, which you now have to destroy.

Maybe you discover a pirate controlled station, and as you begin to fight and clear them out, it's revealed some of them were unknowingly infected by metal horrors and as they burst out it becomes a three way fight.

Maybe when you got to raid an abandoned station and you hack open the first security door, you're greeted by an unnatural darkness inside, and you have to use flares to search the different rooms and destroy the noctoliths inside.

You can probably add new space specific Anomalies/entities.

You investigate a distress signal from an asteroid, and when you land you find pawns/colonists that had died in your game.

You find what can only be described as a floating island, as if someone took a settlement and the ground it was built on and placed it in orbit, it even has breathable air. It's plagued by strange psychic phenomena and other anomalies. At it's center you find the cause, a pawn fused to gnarled and twisting metal tree. A powerful psy-caster whose shuttle has violently decompressed and ejected them into space without a suite. As they quickly began suffocating, they could only dream, could only beg for one thing: To be back on world, to be home.

For one of the more forgotten DLCs (Royalty), I think being able to visit an imperial flotilla would be super cool. If you're enemies with the Empire, it can function as a high difficulty late-game raid with a bunch of late game tech (mono swords, plasma swords, psy-cast gear, etc). But if you're allied it could have a Stellarc ranked AI pawn that bestows a certain amount of honor (maybe for a price or based on the receiving pawns social level). :Blessing:

As for the design of the ship, it could feature a giant throne room in the middle, with various barracks and armories around it.

If you complete the game through the "empire victory," they mention your pawns boarding one the of flotillas and jockeying for power, so it would be cool to actually visualize what one of those ships would actually look like.

Add an insectoid asteroid with caves filled with hives around an archaen tree

Bump

Also it would be cool if you showed up at the regular bombed-out orbital platform and there was just a revenant or a pack of chimera or something
