Failed to get public ip
So when ever I start my server I get this, I have the port forwarded as tcp/udp
[4:27:18 PM] dmultiplayersrv 1.6.0.0
[4:27:18 PM] Client version required to join: 0.6.0
[4:27:18 PM] Loading settings...
[4:27:18 PM] Your local IP is: 192.168.1.4
[4:27:19 PM] Starting server...
[4:27:19 PM] Failed to check for updates.
[4:27:40 PM] Failed to get your public IP.
[4:27:40 PM] Running startup macro...
[4:27:40 PM] Ready!
[4:28:01 PM] Failed to register server. Automatic retry in 30 minutes...

Please, help me get this. I have been tring for an hout and 30 minutes.

If I remember well you can't receive your public ip until server is on.
And at the moment this server is down...
But your server can still work if your friends use direct connection

@No_cL manpapper the same thing happens to me but you said something about people need my public for it to work??

I will say it in a easy way i hope, your ISP provide you a router this router have 2 ip the private one which is use for each computer phone or any others things which access to internet using your box (ethernet and wifi).
The router have an another ip (public ip) which allow all your computers to access internet.
Generally range of private ip are the same in all houses.
So to connect to someone else computer you need public Ip
Now there is a problem because i want to access your server for example i use your public Ip with port 1337 but your router don't know to which computer, it need to redirect the request
Here port forwardd is useful because if someone using port 1337 want to contact the server .
Port forwarding will say i transfert all resquest with port 1337 to GDTMP server

I probably don't really explain it very well so i think you should see on wikipedia what is private ip, public ip and portforwarding.

No there isn't any server to register all servers it's offline if i remembered well the code this server told you what is your public ip.
