Total War: ROME II - Emperor Edition

Divide et Impera Part 1
Does auto calculating battles not work properly in this mod?
I am playing as Seleucids. Even with a full stack of elite troops I cant even autocalc vs garrison troops or I lose 1/3 of my Army no matter what. The force strength bar will often show me at a disadvantage against much less threatening forces. Do these features just not function properly in DEI?

They don't function in base game anyway BUT if you attack a settlement, you have to wait at least a turn or build siege equipment to get better autoresolve.

Also autoresolve values balanced armies more.

Autoresolve is just combined damage vs HP of other team, so ranged units are double counted by the game as if they used their ammo and melee weapons.

I didnt necessarily mean when attacking a settlement i just meant tier 1 or levy troops i guess. For example i just had a battle where the force bar in this case was about 90% in my favor and i still lost 400 men when i tried to autocalc. in the base game in that situation im pretty sure youd just lose a handful. Just seems more harsh than in base game
