If your having problems beating the 2:00 mark try This:
(As a note...The following is based on Mouse & Keyboard Config)
1.Run the track & forget about the Clock...(So that you know where your going to, before you get there) The old adage "Learn to walk before you can Run"))

2.Parts of the track "OverLap" itself, so the better you know the track, the less you'll worry about un-necessary ports in your peripheral vision,

3. Once you know the track you can position yourself for the next portal (Try to stay at least one ahead) I.E. do a 180 turn off the repulsion gel so you can start to line up your next shot*.

*Sometimes Pausing for a 1 second (or 2) To hit a difficult target...takes a lot less time than missing your shot completely.

4.Differentiate between portable surfaces that you need to get from point A, to point B & Those tthat are availble for getting your time "Under 2:00"

The time is alloted by the designer is "Very" reasonable.
