Required Governance / Current Governance
So, I started my first campaign and I must say, I hate this mechanic. It is needlessly arcane and if you need to link me to a the wiki page (which I've read) instead of being able to summarize it to me, it's not a good mechanic.

Not helping that it's ♥♥♥♥ing me over big time. Playing as Prussia, having a PU'ed France, all is going well, blobbing normally as you do, until eventually, without any clear indication of what I did, my force limit starts dropping. And I'm talking from 230 down to 90 within a few years. I discover that the autonomy of my provinces jumps up by 3 every month (instead of the displayed 0.3 due to Junker Dominance) and I am ♥♥♥♥♥♥. France is getting unruly, I'm losing tons of money and nothing I do according to the wiki is any help. Granting land to the nobles? Nothing happens, in fact, that just DROPS my current governance further.

I appreciate the attempt to model these mechanics in a more detailed way than vanilla EU4. But without going outside of the game (since the in-game encyclopedia is laughably inadequate) I wouldn't even know what was happening, let alone what to do about it.

I doubt there is a quick fix for my problem, although I would appreciate some help if there is a surefire way for me to rescue my campaign.
