Feedback on some features (or possible bugs) and an inquiry
Good evening again and thank you for your work on this amazing mod.
I have come back to EU4 after some time and there are some features of the mod that I would like to ask about.
The corruption cannot be reduced anymore by spending money using the slider, according to the change logs. One small issue or exploit is that the slider still works. If I move it to the maximum, I get -1 corruption per year, without any costs. Maybe it should be disabled, if desirable or possible, programming wise? The bigger issue with the high corruption in the late middle ages is that the AI has no idea how to manage or counterbalance the +0.5 malus per year and ends up with anywhere between 37 and 70 corruption (in fairness, the 70 was an extreme case for a country who started with double the amount of normal corruption) in something like 10 years. This means that they are always behind me in tech, even when I spend my points on coring, peace diplomacy, harsh treatment or ideas.
An issue with the extra diplomat the player gets in time of war. In the beginning, this works well, but after I conquer my neighbors, become a kingdom and get the +1 diplomat from conciliatory ideas, he doesn't appear anymore. Is this a feature? I don't mind it, it makes it a bit more difficult for me to avoid coalitions, but it is fine if there is a hard limit of 4 diplomats.
Related to vassal feeding, the wiki or encyclopedia says that feeding the vassal a province reduces the integration stage by 50% or moves it to the previous level. The issue is with vassals who are on the first stage and less than 50% integrated. They get a +50% to liberty desire, which doesn't seem to go down at all, at least in the 5 year period I observed one of my vassals. Was this done on purpose, to give the players the choice between a loyal vassal and big, but inactive one?
Finally, an issue with the realm management. For every change in taxation, manpower levies or garrisons, I have to pay 1 corruption per region. The AI doesn't seem to use the realm management, so no problems there. Nevertheless, it really restricts roleplaying, as I would, almost always, garrison my border regions and reduce taxes and levies in the new conquests in my benevolent, iron-fisted dictatorship:). Was this change introduced because players exploit the realm management by micromanaging it?

Thank you again for the mod.
Have a beautiful week!
Edward.
