For the last time in now a third different thread, I can't answer this question without more information. What nation are you playing; what government? What is the source of the autonomy? It is coming from a modifier somewhere and I need to know which one. If it is the Byzantine Decline then it will continue to increase specifically because you are NOT expanidng (resotre the empire or it will continue to wane and collapse). If it is the Inefficient Bureaucracy then the answer can be situational but usually results from overexpansion (though this should be self-correcting and the modifier goes away as autonomy increases to some higher equilibrium level).

I'm Pomeriana, Hereditary Monarchy, adm 1, dip 1, mil 1. Local automy is growing 1% monthly. Now is 30% in 2 provinces and 20 in 2 others. I don't know what is the source of the autonomy. I have weak legal tradition, Patrimonialism and strong aristocracy modifier. On the local autonomy It is not explained why it increases. I see the percentage o the autonomy and the unrest.

In another post you said it was going to 100% which does not sound like the case; mouse over the autonomy value and the tooltip will show you what the natural minimums based on culture, ownership, and serfdom are. That's all this sounds like.

try to convert the territories land in states, the l.a. will reduce signifcatly. the states are the regions, so you will need 1 state-land for region.
