Europa Universalis IV

Europa Universalis IV

Veritas et Fortitudo
Thank you for a nice mod
Thank you so much, I tried this mod and so many things are greeat. The ideas, the policies the way they are fashioned, the fluff, events. So many cool things. I like this mod, but I wanted to love it, especially given the time it took to make it. From looking at the files I can tell this is something way beyond my own abilities.

Unfortunately the lack of information on this mod is frustrating. I find bits and pieces on forums here and there and in game so much of things work behind the scenes. EU IV is about statistics, information, charts, triggers etc. yet so much of this mod works with numbers hidden from view.

Better to have too much information than not enough, at least in my opinion. I played just a bit of MEIOU Taxes before my friend recommended this mod and the manuals MEIOU has is soemthing this mod desperately needs.

I continue to see similar questions asked, . When so many wonder the same thing that is a clue that so much information is omitted and taken for granted. You are the developer you know how it works, but your mod would benefit from spending a bit more time writting down all (yes all) the information, factors, triggers, relations etc. Think of the chart you made for the ideas when you click on the overlay, that states clearly what affects what, ...if you could export that idea or fabric into a coherent manual fo this mod.

An example of the opposite. Expanding bureaucracy options, hovering over the options doesn't yield a single piece of data.

In the end, I repeat what I said before; is better to have too much information available than too little. SUffice to say I found more info in the actual mod files that I did on the wiki, so that tells you much. I echo what I heard someone said to me once "I don't need a dictionary, I need a manual. The former tells me what the word is, the latter tells me the how and the why in relation to a scenario".

In other words, I would say to turn the encyclopedia into an actual manual.

Again, thank you for a great mod I'll keep playing, although at this point i've just disabled some of the features.

Cheers
