How to actually join a server?

I have no idea what the hell i am doing as am putting the server IP into the blacklist server list and wont let me join if someone could give me a simple step by step guide on what to do it would be great.

lmao do you know what a black list is? You're blocking yourself from ever seeing that server. Just add it to your favorites, then connect.
