Is this is a tribute to the attack in France?

But in the attack yesterday, a man hid in a box to give information to the police about terrorists.

Was there a GIGN with box in that event or what? How can you think it's kind of tribute is what surprises me. There's like literally no reference to it, if there was muslim with towel or broken pencil sure but...

This is also a Full Metal Jacket reference correct, because on the picture it says "This is my Hitbox There are many like it but this one is mine" and in FMJ they say "This is my Rifle There are many like it but this one is mine."

For the thumbnail yeah I did reference FMJ. I thought it fit the theme well enough as a funny reference.
