Seems that no one is working on this mod, but I only just found it recently. It's easily one of the greatest, up there with Viking Conquest and 1257 AD.

My problem is that, at the start of a battle, I hardly have enough time to put my troops into formation before the enemy cavalry charges into them. Half the time, they manage to charge into my unprepared troops. In VC and 1257, the battlefields are huge, which gives you time to prepare your troops accordingly, even if the enemy is on the attack.

Pre-battle deployments save a few seconds of time telling my troops what formations to take, but what happens if you spawn behind a hill? You still have to move your whole army to a nice spot.

Anyone else have this issue?
