Your Own Secret Hideout
Okay, so I just found out about the secret hideout thing and I love it, however, it only let me build one because of an outpost limit or something. Is there a way that I can change the amount I can make? or do I have to level up my engineering ingame?

Yep, only one. Personally I don't mind though.

What's worse: Some of the troops stationed in the hideout/base may become unretrievable. At one point, I had Portuguese Marksmen and Conquistadors in my base - and when I went back to get them back into my actual army, the Marksmen were stock in the base. Consequently, as I demolished the base they were lost for good.

I think that your Marksmen were at the first row which is why it is untrievable but with the addition of the fort captain it should no longer be a matter. I conquered the whole of Suvarnabhumi Mahayuth but got no achievement. I spend 522 days [in game] and yet i didn't get rule all of calradia or empress of everything

what is the use of the hide outs and secret bases all i can do is garrison troops and turn it into a secret base

That would be due to the fact that mods don't work with achievements.

Secret bases are useless but it is useful for garrisoning troops untill you need them to for example take over a castle or city and became a king.

accidently made a hideout in a game but it got deleted. Tried to start a new game but i cant make hideout, can i not make one again?

Make a new game bud. the hideout is useless tbh unless you are trying to make a kingdom then it is a good place to store troops first untill it is time
