the black looks a bit too dark for me , try making a bit less dark , see if it looks good :)

for me its also to close to other well known scifi skins...but if you want to keep that style may add some more little detailed fields of different textures and lines.

also you should play around with different color tones to make it more intresting to the eye.... it looks some kinda flat
