If you buy an engineer for your squad, they come with a satchel charge and 2 explosive charges, and 1 satchel charge is enough to destroy the tower completely.

I would also recommend NOT trying to destroy the tower with mortars. While possible it takes a damn near direct hit to successfully destroy a tower. Save the ammo (and the risk of counter-fire) and get up close to the tower with a satchel charge.

But i would rather to take the outpost than just to destroy the radio tower. As i know the AAF will rebuild the tower when you dont conquer the outpost after you are out of Spawnradius.

Thanks for the tip. This mod seems like chicken and egg for non dedicated servers. Hard to secure land close to bases and radio towers, hard to secure bases or radio towers without securing the land around them.
