Report a translation problem
For the last few weeks I've been working on a similar solution. It will be put into the mod after I finally manage deal with some bugs. Could as well reveal it right now:
The Werebeaver now has a health meter and can normally die after his health reaches zero. Similarily to your solution, it slowly degrades over time.
But your one is quite interesting too. I might actually try to implement it.
I just have no clue how much freedom is given in regards to modding characters in DST.
Especially about adding new classes or at least variables.

Its simple to make. Just use the script, take the woodie part out, and take the wood part out! Please can you do this for the people?
