Unplayable with bots, inconsistent with humans. Unscored.

In its current state, The Hive is impossible to complete with a team of bots. They struggle more than usual on every single map, but in Map 2 they actively run away from you after a certain point and you literally cannot progress. Bots can also potentially make other chapters impossible depending on what obstacles and events the campaign randomly throws in your path. You shouldn't attempt this unless you have a full team of humans.

Even with four people, The Hive is still inconsistent and hostile to players. Instant death traps with little warning plague the middle chapters, and while I wouldn't say it's bad, it's certainly not for me. The recreations of Resident Evil levels are admirable work, but too much time is spent in boxy mazes. I wanted so much more RE! Map 5 in particular is so gorgeous from start to finish and it pains me that you have to run past it all in a confusing gauntlet finale. Try this campaign at your own risk.
