I beleive this conflicts with the add-on that allows you to force drop a weapon by binding a key, it doesnt work anymore. i cant drop my weapons by the binded key, they only drop from death.

What is the addon name?

i was having trouble finding it because i have 300 mods, and i think it was removed from the workshop. but i have come to the conclusion that its my garry's mod because i had another mod that i had to bind the key to and it wasnt working. so i cant bind any keys. so i think its on my end, but ill look further into it.

There's was one script for weapon drop by bind press, but was removed. Confirming what weapon drop on death and weapon drop by binding are working.

Some weapons like HL1 weapons and Australium Halefire float when dropped,and may teleport to lie on the floor,directly below the place it was hovering.It's fine though,and isn't your fault.

When you died with helding a FA:S machete, this appears in console

This addon works with "Enhanced Damage", but not without disabling ragdolls (enhanceddamage_ragdolls 0). Is it possible to make it work with ED with Ragdolls enabled?

I think it conflicts with carter's addon stargate pack (https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=175394472).

The addon allows drops on G key.
When this addon is installed too, and you keep repeatly pressing G, you can do endless weapon drops because the weapon will for some reason respawn instantly in your inventory without picking up the dropped one. Also the dropped weapons using G are not pickupable and dont despawn, despawn settings seems to be ignored. I haven't seen any lua error.

The addon just stops working after a few deaths, i restarted the server and it never worked anymore. Dont have anything to show.

works fine for me, must be on your side. Check your addons.

Seems to happen sometimes when I first spawn on a server and havent activated anything yet, but also happens occasionally when using other mods that use the activate key.

doesnt happen to me when i have ulib, must be other addon

welp, after pruning a load of addons from my list, the problem (seems) to have gone away. I wish I knew exactly what mod did it.
