Technical and Gameplay Issues
Please post any technical glitches, performance hickups, and gameplay issues here. I will be trimming the comments as things are discussed. Thanks for helping me make this a better map.

EDIT: Updated with a fix for the black textures. Lemme know if fixed/still missing.

I seem to be missing textures, as a lot of textures are black.

The map however looks amazing except for the chairs which you can push over etc., it's really hard to walk past them at some points making it hard to walk around. Beside that the map is great :)

Edit: On the roof there is also this block with the orange Dev textures, I'm not sure wether ot not you forgot to make this invisible or not :)

I have black wall textures on most of the outer walls of the map both inside and outside on all floors and in the basement. Most of the inner walls are ok. I've tried reinstalling the map a few times and messing with settings but I think its a glitch with the map.

Really neat map though. keep up the good work.

my wall textures are weird and then my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ began to bleed, but what you need to do is uninstall and reinstall OR varify your gamecache

That's temporary, there is clip all over that but I didn't put any props, and hate invisible walls. That area isn't final in general.

Thanks for posting this, I've asked a few other friends to verify. Did you get the map just the other day, or earlier in the week? I will upload another version in 12 hrs or so, keep an eye out. Thanks.

Pretty sure I downloaded it originally on thurs or friday this past week but not sure exactly. I redownloaded it a few times so I'm pretty sure I have the latest version. hope that helps.

I often started the round with 50hp after falling down a shaft :( There were a few actuall glitches as well. For instance, both teams occationally spawned on top of eachother and got stuck, when the bomb exploded, nobody took explotion damage, the bomb could easily be thrown out of play, and the 'start round' music seemed to play on a loop until the bomb was planted and the round was over. Oh and there were a few missing textures, the looking out from the basement, and also, i think visability between the section needs to improve. I could often hear the enemy team walking around abouve/below me and I couln't know where they were.

I still think that this map would make a good "Spies vs Merc" game mode if everything was darker and the T's had flashlights.

Yes, I played a bit of DM but also played some comptitive with bots and a friend. It played quite well, even though I think you may have to slightly edit bits of it, with one or two small issues; as I said I killed my friend and the bomb fell through a hole in the map and onto the bottom of the level which was hillarious. I took a screenshot of the spawning, and I could try to recreate a few bugs if you wanted; I wouldn't mind joining in in a playtesting if there was one upcoming on a server as I enjoyed the competitive game I played, minus the minor ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and bugs.

Thanks, that's a great idea. I definitely had sneaking in mind when creating it. I don't have time right now to do a game mode, but I'm putting it on the list.

I've got a good idea of the areas that need editing. On this map if I had an idea, I put it in. A lot of the main areas have been around for awhile and are basically set. But a lot of the secondary areas will either get redone, condensed, axed entirely. I'm pumped that you had some fun playing.

My only problem with the map was that I think that the second bombsite would be very hard too place. I can see it working like vertigo, where you reduce the ladder heights and stretch it out sideways, with one bombsite on ct-spawn, leaving the other where it is. Another idea might be to duplicate the tower and have bridges going across to the second tower, with a bombsite in each. The only way i could see the current layout really working and being perfect for the situation would be if it was a hostage rescue map, which as far as I'm aware, are much harder to pass into the operations. The hostages would make more sence than a bombsite as the fact its in the middle of a office... Sorry if you have already spent many hours developing it around the DE bit, but I think, with the current design, it would flow better to be cs_boardroom.

No worries, really it was always designed as a single bomb site. Plus the stacked floors don't play well with the radar system. I went in knowing this and not really expecting to go into an operation, however awesome that would be. There are some unconvential maps occasionally, but they may not break more than one rule at a time.. The thing you bring up about a hostage scenario is great. Was thinking to start T's in the boardroom itself, and CT's could spawn either on the roof or in the maintenance section below. Possibly two dropoff areas as well. For that to work it would need another more direct way up to the roof, and probably open up more direct routes between the two sides.
