Won't attack

I wanted to try out fire fist but he won't attack anything. I've only tried on birds and bees. Does he only attack enemies?

Try to find a spider nest and Ctrl+Click. Or perhaps your fist attack button is different?

CTRL + F makes you hit your closest target with weapons or without :)
