Troubleshooting, Bug Reports, and FAQ
This discussion thread will contain any issues users may have during their experience with Five Nights at Freddy's 3 Map. If you encounter any issues of your own please post in the comments and we will dispatch a moderator to get back to you ASAP.

Q: I loaded the map and it gliched out,couldint play it from the music and the buggy mess

A: Make sure you have CS:S installed and mounted (you can buy it from the steam store) or else you will encounter issues regarding sound and texture quality.

Q: Was this a prank?

A: What a rude and misogynist question to ask. I can assure you the authors of Five Nights at Freddy's 3 Map worked very tirelessly to ensure the highest quality FNAF 3 experience this map in no way shape or form is a joke.

my pc crashes cuz springtrap and the map is on hd pls fix my pc

m8 when I open the map it's just missing textures and flashing lights. I already tried unmounting CS:S and mounting it again. is it my hardware?

Which version of directx are you running?

Check to make sure you insalled the newest version of gmod. There was an update today regarding this.

There's your problem you see directx has a few rare incapabilities with specific graphics cards.

Each time a new version of the run-time is released they use a completely different DLL.

If your application targets the December 2005 version of DirectX, it is entirely possible you do not have that version of the runtime installed. And no, you need the right version of DX9, DX11 is completely orthogonal to DX9 - you could have a system with DX11 installed but lacking DX9 entirely if Microsoft did not actually package both with the operating system.

Long story short, download the DirectX redistributable installer from Microsoft.

my pc says "Windows Error: This map is the best one that your pc is not able to run it because your memory card its damaged". Im scard cuz i think i milked myslf n my videocard wasnt lucky enough.

i dled the dx redist but it didnt work. so I reinstalled windows. now works perfectly. 8/8 map

Um I tried to launch it and all I could see were errors and missing textures everywhere, and yes I have counter strike source installed and mounted
