Can you make the suppressor work?

I've noticed the suppressor on the pistol and 've been thinking,can the suppressor really lower the noise level of the pistol? And because of the suppressor can you make it to where it deals less damage on body shots but deals mini-crits on head shots,just sayin' it makes sense if you add a supressor.

I checked out the weapon demostration and the suppressor works,but can you still make it similar to the hitman's heatmaker?

That is something that only Valve can do when and if they add the weapon
