Hello! I've grown quite fond of this mod and I have a few questions about it that aren't related to how it works.

Is this an OC, or based off a character from something?
I find myself interested in the character from this mod. Kyle has an amazing physical design, and an interesting personality.
If he is an OC:
How did the idea for him come about?
Did the idea for the character originate from Don't Starve, or is he more than that?
What's his backstory?
I can't help but wonder the story behind Kyle. How did the parasite come to be a part of him? Is he some sort of scientist? What was he like before the worm took over?
Do you still care what happens to this character?
I know this sounds weird, but have a hobby of fleshing out already somewhat established characters. Kyle really caught my attention and I'd love to develop him more if you're ok with it. It's be fun to adopt this guy.

Anyway, thank you for your time. I know this is an odd series of questions to be asked over a simple mod, especially one this old, but I do love it and I think Kyle would be fun to expand on as a character.
