Doesn't the Flaregun have 16 flares?

+50% damage for regular attacks
+has 18 flares in total
+has a clip of three flares
+alt fire shoots all 3 flares(has a shot spread when alt used)
+alt does increased damge(each flare does 60 damage)

-alt fire has a cooldown

has a heat mechanic, continous use of the weapon will cause a heat bar to fill up, once maxed, if pulled out, user takes after burn damage

I'd use something like that.

+200% clip size (So 3 flares before reload)

it would be cool if it were able to fire 3 flares without reload, but have a special mechanic where the first flare on a player would do base damage, the second mini crit, and the third crit. and should the player land all three shots it would make a unique noise like the machima or loose cannon.

As for downsides it would have a 20% reload speed i don't know

Fires 3 flares simultaneously in a spiral. Flares spread out the farther and longer it goes.
+20% damage
+15% longer afterburn
-15% accuracy
-10 shots (I want the clip size to have 6 shots, but I don't know the exact percentage, srry)
