A1: I honestly want to make DUWS-R a great base for any other future mods. I really want to get some of the bugs I've noticed squashed and add some more side-missions / features as my skills increase. As for a future road-map I'm really trying to run the project very similar to SCRUM for software development. This is probably because I'm a software developer by trade and I really see the power of SCRUM and it's ability to pivot rapidly.
Quite honestly I view DUWS-R as the communities mission, not mine. I just currently hold the keys because I pushed it out to Steam but I really have the least code in the mission. I put the code up on GitHub so that anyone can make contributions. I'm involved in about 5 projects right now so my time to any one is pretty limitied. I really hate to see such a fantastic mission as the original DUWS fall into disuse since no one maintains it.
A2: There is actually a PR that is waiting on some feedback to be addressed to allow both VAS and BISA. Hopefully this will be in the next release, if not I would be very surprised if it missed v0.3.0.
I hope that answers your questions.
Again, Thank you!
The version of the code I linked below was built by someone that doesn't really understand git and is about 10 hours ahead of me so we don't get much time to talk. I /think/ that the code is incompatible with people not playing on a dedicated server... That said I've been trying to find time to really look at the code and understand it so I can make it work with SP, MP and Dedicated Servers.
Honestly, don't feel bad that you don't understand the code for ARMAs scripting language. I've been writing software professionally for about 10 years now and I'm learning it as I go :-).

Again, Thanks.
