Mod Version
You can download the mod version from here - http://tf2mods.net/mod.php?id=351

Extract the archive and place in your C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Team Fortress 2\tf\custom folder

Enjoy :)

GamerHD here are all the steps in more detail-

1. Download WinRAR to extract the VPK file from the archive, you can find it here www.rarlab.com/download.htm

2. Open the mod file using WinRAR and place the .vpk file into C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Team Fortress 2\tf\custom

What bow weapon does this replace exactly? Fortified Compound or Huntsman?

7zip works better than WinRAR. just saying. Also its free and open source and supports more formats. :beatmeat:

Help! Every time I try to open the file using WinRAR it keeps reinstalling it. What do i do?

@ QuickNinjaCat - This is a replacement for the Huntsman.

@ goldanthro - 7zip works well too and is a good alternative, thanks for mentioning it.

@ An Agitatingly Annoying Ewok - If you have WinRAR already installed, you should have the option of extracting the files just by right clicking on the .zip file. You can place it on your desktop and select "Extract here" from the right click menu. Once you have the file extracted place it in your custom folder mentioned in the first post.

@Tuna Melt; Thanks for the clarification. I was wondering if you could have this replace the fortified compound. But with this mod, I realized that I was good as a sniper w/ a bow.

The mod download was updated right? Because I remember seeing a skin of this a while ago and that was before you brought it up to "valve" standards and resubmitted it.
