Q: I have downloaded your addon, but it looks like its not working for me. Whats wrong?
A: There might be few reasons why.

• Ensure you have launched Contagion at least once after subscribing to this addon.
  When you are in main menu, take a look at bottom screen on left and you should see something like: "DOWNLOADING WORKSHOP ADD-ONS" with Contagion spinner logo.
  
  
• If you believe the addon was downloaded, head to the Extras>Addons menu. Find the addon itself and enable it from there. After that, do an full restart of Contagion as some materials\UI parts will not be applied until game restarted.
  
  
• The addon may also conflict with other materials\UI addons. From here, you gotta disable\remove useless addons or you know..dont use mine.

Q: The Survivor\Zombie on loading screen is cutted off in half.
A: Connecting\loading unofficial/community made maps causes this problem. Cant be fixed unless the custom maps doesnt have an map preview.

Q: Can you remove GPS preview whenever connecting to servers running with Barlowe Square\Aurora Estates maps?
A: No. Removing GPS preview will make your phone completely useless when playing on Extraction gamemode.

Q: No background videos in addon. Considered as additional content.
A: The reason why they aren't in addon .VPK file is...because addons aren't reading "media" folder, resulting no changes were done by addon. At same time, the videos would create a big mess in .VPK file.

The background videos aren't required and they are optional, but personally, I think it would be alright for you to have an full beta stylish main menu.

When you downloaded the archive, open it with WinRAR(or whatever else program you got there), then drag and drop media folder into Contagion folder.
(I.E. Steamapps>common>Contagion>contagion)
It will ask you an question: "Do you want to replace this folder with other one?", click "Yes" button and you'll replaceit with new folder. And bam, you got an different background videos.

Please note:
If you will start verifying integrity of game, it will re-download the original background videos, resulting background videos from Early Beta to be replaced with original ones.

Q: Font size in early access main menu was bigger.
A: Requires tweaks in ContUI.res file which cant be added in addons because again, they arent checking that file resulting no changes were done.

Q: Background image? It was working in Early beta versions.
A: Yes, it was working in early access versions. Sadly enough, that image was assigned with code from early access build, yet it doesnt work with release builds.
Another attempt to reproduce was creating image and try to add that image in .res files.
Sure, everything was fine except of one thing. The image wasnt getting transparent which was resulting some serious conflicts.


That's pretty much common questions for now. The list might get updated. Feel free to ask questions regarding to addon.


Since I am not working\checking Contagion anymore, I can only rely on people who do keep Contagion in check all time. I can only kindly ask you to notify me(by posting message about update for Contagion being rolled up in this thread), so I can keep this addon updated.
