Counter-Strike 2

DE_SANTORINI (greybox)
The new Dust2
I really enjoy this map. I played the dev version (v54) and the greybox. The changes between the two, layout wise, are noticeable and are for the better. The map appears to be CT sided by rotation and location relativity to each site, but other than that it is fairly balanced.

Middle is easily contestable on either side, with a top and short, I like the addition of an A connector as well as the stairs to mid for T's, which will be mostly used to catch rotators going through mid.

Bombsite A is interesting and seems like a twist on Dust2's (i've made my own twist on it as well) and the underpass is an interesting idea yet can be a deathtrap to those who screw up nades (I do every now and then). The main and mid entrances are placed nicely and play well with the site.

Bombsite B as of the greybox version is very very well done, the spot by CT entrance is a nice addition for defending site, and the removal of the bridges is great as well, not as open for attack as the new platform is.

Overall, very well done, it IS a balanced map you just have to look for the right things.

I have questions though:

1. I have decompiled both maps to take a look and noticed everything is on a 1 unit grid, why?
2. Why does the nodraw/skybox extend through the entirety of hammer's world thing?
3. Could you move the level away from the origin? This would improve performance.
4. Could you explain how you went from the messiest of brushwork to building placement to final details? I'm fairly more interested in this than anything seeing as how I can never really reach a final product in this regard.

Thanks for reading and thanks FMPONE for another awesome map.
