Beghins, Option for Small Unit Capacity?
Hi there! Just wanted to say I've been loving this mod! Been waiting over a year to enjoy it and it has paid off immensely! As many on this forum have said, playing with more than 3 total players in a match can be tough. I have a 6th gen i7, 16GB DDR4 RAM, a solid state drive, and a 4GB Nvidia GTX 970. When it's 1v1 I have pretty stable 60fps until the end on max settings. 2v1 though and it can tank into the teens during big fleet engagements. The game is too pretty for me to turn down graphically, but maybe a simple fix would be an option on the Player vs CPU "Create New Game" settings for "Small Unit Capacity?" Currently there is only "Normal" and "High." I feel the massive number of fighters and corvettes are what tank my fps as it is trying to render those small ships at the same resolution as the big ones. If the max cap for fighters and corvettes had the option to be lowered (and Research Points adjusted to allow for building of Capital ships to match), I think that would also help fps. I love full scale battles, but mostly I just want to see the ridiculously OP capital ships duking it out, which is tough when you basically have to max fighters/corvettes/frigates before you can even build capital ships.

Like I said, loving the mod, so much so I want to be able to play with more than 2 other players without roasting my rig!

I'm agree with you and this is my next task for the build 20, also for me the game is more tactical with few ships.
So finally I'll implement it, anyway, in general the game should be more fast in new versions, not public yet.
Thanks, I'm happy you like Complex, it will better release after release

Thank you so much! Can't wait to test it out! Keep up the good work, it is certainly appreciated by fans :-) Gearbox should pay you to help them develop HW3
