Hi, i know this topic is little bit old. And sorry for my eng. gramma.
But i try challenge my english skills and answer some questions here.
If i had to describe my position in complex mod it would be something as "Technical artist".
I am responsible for graphical content and creating/importing content.
I created complex development tools that has been used in Homeworld remastered development in 2015 when we were working for Gearbox software on Remastered collection.
There are bugs, we know them for long time. We did our best to fix much of the issues as possible before Remastered release.
When the release date has come up. The game engine has been compiled and released with bugs that was unable to fix before release.
It is not in our power to repair/fix bugs and issues coming from compiled game engine. 99 % bugs that are reported require rewrite source code in game engine.
We were planned to do complex modding for 3 years at maximum and everything above is just a bonus.
There are hard limits that can't be overcome. One of them is maximum GPU memory that can engine handle. I is around 2.4 - 2.8 GB
We filled the maximum memory just by hgn and vgr race. We tryed to overcome this problem by limiting the content by race selection. But we are now at end.
I am sorry to say that, but there is no more space for more content. We are at maximum content limit that the engine can handle.
The development has slowed/stoped because there is nothing more what can be developed.
The campaing it self was one way because you can choose the content what will be used in the campaing, which gives you some ability to manage GPU memory.
I would like to thank you for the past 9 years as complex artist. Let me tell you it was a journey. We have to accept complex what it is and keep the wishes for the future.

I heard that there will be one more update, which will finish off the Kadeshi but also introduce a lot of other things such as balance changes and bugfixes...

If that is indeed the case then I have one question: would splitting the modification into different parts do anything to help that?

The engine limitations affect your game only if you play using all races in one single match.
The project at the moment is still in development, the last version features new gameplay ecc...
What is stopped is the graphic/content, new ships, 3d models ecc, this is due to the low budget.
I'm deciding right now what to do with the project, so maybe another campaign on Patreon trying to increase the budget, maybe I will close it or maybe I will focus on the campaign.

I will proof-read and edit all English text in your mod for free.

Please.

It pains me when you have voice actors reading lines that have incorrect grammar. I don't even need to be credited or anything- I just want to help fix it.

If there isn't a way to send all the text in one go so that I can just read and edit it, I plan on going through the mod, transcribing all the text, including edited/corrected versions of said text, and then sending that document to you.

I'll even provide feedback and suggestions on the plot for the campaign.
