A Humble Request
Salutations,

I am posting this thread in the hopes of the developers of this wonderful mod reading this. I would like to ask (beg) for the Homefront mod to be ported into the remastered version in HD, with some additions, namely the UNSC Infinity. Also I would like to ask the Devs kindly to look into the HW2 Classic issue of the black screen crashing on start up issue which is well documented in other threads. Hopefully a remastered mod of Homefront would alleviate this problem entirely.

It's being worked on. Unfortunately, no Infinity.

Do you know if the black screen issue is going to be addressed?

I have it currently and it is not working for me at all.

Finally, have you looked at the old Point Defense System mods? Is your mod compatible with it?

The black screen thing is caused by an AMD Driver issue. I believe the correct driver is catalyst 14.4, and you have to download it, unpack it (not install!), and copy atioglxx.dll to Steam\steamapps\common\Homeworld\Homeworld2Classic\Bin\Release, wherever that is in your computer (either programfiles or program files x86)

The problem isnt in any of the mods, its in Homeworld 2 Classic not liking the new AMD/ATI .dll for graphics.

Im using a Nvidia Geforce GTX 660 and an AMD Zambezi 4.2ghz cpu. So it's a cpu driver, not my gfx?

I hope I am not too forthcoming, but is there an ETA on the Remastered Version of Homefront? I would love to be able to mark my calender, lol.
