Paint options/add ons
maybe make it yellow and makes your whole head yellow, that way you could paint the entire face a color. also on a different note maybe give it so lego hats that only work with this hat? like a lego hair?

if you can paint the whole face, maybe do this: (Example) if painted black or any color the top part would be painted with that color and it would fade into the skin color

Yeah if you painted it black it would look like he's doing a blackface, so...

not necesarily it would look like the top of his head is that color
