I think a version with the land pollution turning everything a dark grey (instead of the current light grey) might help some people. Or maybe a darker shade of Red-Brown, like a rust + (dark red) clay + ceramics + porcelain + plastic&oil (where the darker shade would come from). Having a darker shade of Red-Brown would also differentiate pollution from the autumn colors.
