I do understand that traffic needs a location that it can change to another lane. To reduce the issue I editied the route using the intersection editor in the middle of the streets to prevent traffic from traversing all 6 lanes. I allowed traffic to cross as many as needed to get into a lane that will take them to the closest lane that will turn to the road that they want to go to. It does seem to help. But is very time consuming to do each little section like this. It would be an option implemented into the roads to prevent large lane changes, like leave the lane changes to be only one or two lanes form their current lane. The issue comes in as they have to acutally drive in the wrong direction to get into the lane they want to. Bus routes lines, show what I mean quite well.
So in short: sugest to restrict the number of lanes that a lane is able to change into.
