The custom roads are now optional but they won't be replaced by the roads added by AD.
Unfortunately, disabling the roads will revert them to their vanilla counterpart but won't remove the restrictions (bus and pedestrian lane) since these are saved in the road customizer tool.
This means that, for example, in the place where you had a road with bus lanes, you'll have a vanilla road with restrictions applied by the road customizer tool that resemble the previous road. Just remember that when you see cars not using certain lanes ;)
