EDIT: And no it's not my CPU, it's a 3770k @ 3.9GHz
First of all my computer:
i7 4770
GTX 660
8 GB RAM (1866)
MSI Z87M-G43 (Gaming version)
I was very frustrated that my game is lagging and freezing. I tried several settings and mod options but still no luck. I have Traffic manager and Traffic++, both are updated to latest version.
I have a city which it's population is 800k+. I did some research and digged the traffic++. Found out that after some time, because of Traffic++, as the car number increases game starts to slow it's time, speed, down. It's due to game trying to handle all the traffic. I use "Clear Traffic" from Traffic Manager and game returns to it's original speed and runs without any lag. After certain number of vehicles are spawned or running in the game, your accelerator will not work because of the high number of cars, running with Traffic++. If you enable Ghost mode from Traffic++'s options, you will see that your game will work without any problem wether you have more vehicle in your city ever before.
Only thing you can do is to clear traffic or use ghost mode untill the new update comes in.
