Windows:
<SteamFolder>\SteamApps\common\Cities_Skylines\Cities_Data\output_log.txt

OS X:
~/Library/Logs/Unity/Player.log

Linux:
~/.config/unity3d/Colossal Order/Cities: Skylines/Player.log

Once you've opened the log, goto http://gist.github.com and paste in the contents, or upload the log to something like dropbox / google drive. Then post link to where the log is and we'll see if we can work out what's causing the problem.

Which mods do you have installed?

This is a bug from the ghost mode. I'll release a fix for this probably tomorrow night. Sorry for any troubles.

My installed mods:
25 spaces
First person camera
Traffic Report Tool
1/4 Citizen Aging Speed
Automatic Bulldoze
Traffic++ with enabled Ghost Mode

When i normally disable the Ghost Mode, i have no problems!

@Fresh_Leonardo [GER] that's not a T++ bug as far as we can tell, it seems to be caused by the game itself not handling un-subscription of workshop vehicle assets.

There's some possible solutions in the troubleshooting guide:

@CubesHD There are several errors listed in that log file:

Something called "Hamburg" (asset?) is broken and should be unsubscribed.

It also looks like you're using broken version of Improved Mods Panel (see Troubleshooting FAQ above for links to fixed version - if you're already using fixed version then maybe unsubscribe it and try again?)

You're also getting some DirectX errors; I suggest adding the -force-d3d9 launch parameter as explained in Appendix A of the troubleshooting guide above to avoid random crashes.

Several of the vehicle assets you've subscribed to are using non-standard AIs, you can generally work out which ones by looking for lines similar to this in the log file:

> Traffic++: Replacing 446114634.Virm passenger car_Data's AI failed.

In the example above, "Virm passenger car" is the broken asset.

The following assets are possibly causing issues as well (it's difficult to tell from log file as sometimes the errors aren't output after the asset that causes them):

* medieval house lvl2
* Casa da Música
* Ethical Latvian Home
* Old Tudor Hall
* ...and about 20 others

Doing the -force-d3d9 thing mentioned earlier should solve most if not all of those issues.

Next, the major erorrs listed in the log file...

Simulation error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object

at SimulationManager.SimulationStep () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0

at SimulationManager.SimulationThread () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 [Core]

The error above is most likely caused by a broken buiding asset, although tracking down which one will be somewhat difficult.

at SimulationManager.SimulationStep () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0

at SimulationManager.SimulationThread () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 [Core]

The error above is potentially something to do with Improved Public Transport, although I can't say for certain (I'll do some digging this evenign to see if I can get more information on it).

Simulation error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object
at ResidentAI.StartPathFind (UInt16 instanceID, .CitizenInstance& citizenData) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0

at LoadingManager+<LoadSimulationData>c__Iterator57.MoveNext () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0

at AsyncTask.Execute () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 [Core]

The error above is most likely caused by running some mods which are incompatible with each other - can you post a list of the mods you've got enabled?
