Toggle Traffic Lights
Add Stop Signs
This MOD is amazingly helpful, especially in my residential areas and the one thing it really helped me realize is that this game does not have stop signs, none, nada, zilch. That to me is really weird since Stop signs are used far more often than traffic lights IRL and especially in residential zones.

You've done an amazing job with this MOD and I was wondering if you would look into adding a Stop Sign functionality to it. This could theoretically add more options to the toggle so that you would have the following:

Traffic Lights
4 Way Stop Sign
2 Way Stop Sign (North/South)
2 Way Stop Sign (East/West)
Nothing

The two different 2 Way Stop Signs would be so that you could choose which roadway at an intersection would have the Stop Signs. This would give you the main road with no Stop Sign and then the side road with the Stop Signs.

Again, amazing job and thank you so much for this MOD

I quote myself from the comments:
"C:S doesn't contain any stop signs -- just Traffic Lights and "go ahead". Adding signs must be done much deeper than the toggling work -- I'm not planning on doing so. sorry

But I would like if Colossal would add some right-of-way rules which somebody can use freely on roads. Especially defining Priority roads would be really cool and help the traffic flow"

So nothing in that direction planned -- sorry

Bummer... Thanks for the reply. Too bad, I was really hoping this would be possible. I guess I'll just have to keep using your MOD to remove the useless lights. Either way, amazing job and this is definitely in my top 3 MODs

Hi, i have one suggestion for this mod. What about traffic lights timing? For example i have crossing of one 6 line road and one 2 line. But lights stays for both roads for a same time which is not effective. I need that 2 line road to be connected to that 6 line but traffic there is minimal and timing of lights blocking lot of traffic on 6 line. Thanks!

Btw contanct me if you want to help with programming :)

A slight bummer. But I'm very excited to use the mod.

There's a mod in the works which does provide priority roads, stop signs, etc: https://www.reddit.com/r/CitiesSkylinesModding/comments/30pojr/traffic_manager_mod_priority_signs_and_more/
not yet released...but it looks very promising.

Is there a way to give priority to one road? Without lights, some roads with intersection one close to other, traffic stop on it always. Is there a way to give priority to that road and prevent them stopping on crossroad?

Not with this mod -- but another mod will make that possible: The above mentioned Traffic Manager Mod: https://www.reddit.com/r/CitiesSkylinesModding/comments/31vd31/traffic_manager_mod_optimizing_a_city_timed/ (according to the comments the release is expected on friday)

IMO, Colossal should include stop signs. I wish you could do it, but understand why you cannot. The above comment that stop signs are found everywhere IRL is so true, but then again, I see turning lanes on avenues IRL; sure wish CO would make those part of the game, since it'd help a lot with the traffic simulation.
This mod is one of my absolutely top favorites. Thank you for your awesome mod!
