Broken?

I can't seem to place any premade intersections because it says "Slope too steep," except for the roundabouts, and I don't see a way to change the slope levels. I see this mod hasn't been updated since 2015 so any good alternatives?

The author literally said in the description of the mod that all of the premade intersections would most likely be broken.
