Things I Want to Say About de_newke (Feel Free to Comment)
When I went into the map, I saw an amazing revision to a map that greatly needed it. You have seen a lot of Nuke's weakpoints and have ajusted them accordingly. I, currently ranked at Silver 3 (please no hateful comments towards me about my rank) have played Nuke a lot and am glad to see it changed. I just want to pick apart the map and see what questions can be answered, points can be adressed, and critiques can be notarized and/or fixed.


List of what I liked:

I liked that the both T Spawn and CT Spawn were moved up to cut the time to takes just to run to the battlefield. It saves time for both sides to prepare for engagement.

I liked that the new position of T Red, along with the factory board allows Terrorists to throw smokes in cool positions without being totally exposed from an awper in Garage.

I liked that you changed the view from Courtyard to Outside (or vice versa) to not be more exposed than a busty attention seeker on ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

I love the window addition to Toxic. It, not only make it convenient for Terrorists to watch the bomb. It also makes the room more convenient to Counter Terrorists to watch the bombsite.

I love that there are only 4 enterances to Bombsite B as opposed to 6.


List of Critiques:

My first point, is in Lobby. Near Squeaky, there is a long hall or corner rather that has drawn the question of why it's there. The disadvantage of that corner being there is that it allows CTs to rush through squeaky, into that corner, smoke it off, and wait until the smoke clears and charge from the corner with the P90, Mag-7, Nova, or any other weapon and completely obliterate the Terrorists. Also, that corner can be used by Terrorists as well as a camping spot, and we all know that Terrorists are not really suited to camping until bomb is planted, so that leads me to the request of blocking that corner with a wall.

My second point is still in Lobby. Where sandbags used to be. I feel that that whole platform is like the T Roof of the current Nuke. (Comment to me if I am wrong.) I see no point to it. I mean, you can watch Radio from it, but you can watch Radio better from the door that connects to T spawn and have someone on your team watch hut. You can possibly watch the corner I mentioned earlier, but I went up there to check it and I only saw jack diddly ♥♥♥♥, not to mention the enemy could smoke it. (Then you could really see nothing.) To sum up, there should be no platform there.

My third point finally leads us to somewhere that's not Lobby. It's Ramp. Although I love the addition of the new platform in the middle to seperate Terrorists and Counter Terrorists. That could be made better by adding a box or something to the CT side of that platform, so that it doesn't give Terrorists a total advantage for Ramp control.

My forth point, short and simple. I recommend adding a stray pipe or an item to A Site on top of Hut to allow a solo boost to the Rafters away from Heaven.

Fifth point, shorter and simpler. Is that gap between T Red and Hut intentional? I ask this because as a T awper, I can get the CT awper easily if he's playing the front right corner of Garage (facing T spawn.)


Conclusion:

3killsphillip, you have done a great job revamping the map, and I wish you the best of luck in further revisions of this map. I surley hope that your revisions to a favored map in the game makes it into the game.

Thank you for such detailed feedback. I've changed a lot of the things you've picked up on- I'll host a playtesting session soon for people to try it out on.
