That would be neat! Close one door, and the other one opens!
And, it actually goes well with my idea!
What if there was a new type of airlock. the "Variable airlock"
What this is is a normal airlock, but, with a special name, if it detects the atmosphere has O2 (And, if possible, only High O2), using a vent, if it does, it will open the outer door, and just make it behave as a regular door! Why do I need an airlock on my exploartory craft when it's parked in the same enviroment as everywhere else?
And, it can work with the vent! It could even, if it's set to depresurize the airlock, use that vent to pull O2 back in from the atmosphere!
So, some people make rotor/ piston doors that are air-tight. So, could you make it to where, if we name rotors/ pistons in those doors correctly, they also form an airlock? So, there are two custom doors, but you can only open one? Just an idea! Also can be A variable Airlock and have vents!
Just an idea!
Thanks for the offer though! I did need the reminder.
I need airlock close more quickly
You might have already suggested it almost two years ago. I'm not sure, if that's what you meant with this:
What I'm setting up is a hangar with sensors on each landing bay to check if their occupied, and each respective hangar door has a red/green light showing occupation. When the hangar is active, they'd turn on with this script, but only according to what colour the occupation sensors tell them to.
I'd like to request a small feature:
If not depended on room size and vent count: The abbility to determine per custom data how long the cycling of the airlock (pressurization/depressurization) is supposed to take in seconds. I'd like to increase mine to about 10s for a bit of immersion.
