cant open the gate no reason

while i started the fort fighting it somehow i manage it to kill all but something about the gate it wont ♥♥♥♥♥♥ open ♥♥♥♥ ur mod

After having this issue and Googling it for a few minutes.

Have your follower pull the lever for you. It worked for me.
