Why this mod is free:
Because he got a job from making it- if he didn't get a job due to this mod he'd probably be charging upwards of twenty bucks. If he did he'd be 100% in the right to charge that much and deserves every penny he earns.

I cannot say what I would do if I hadn't gotten a job in the industry. I can say, however, that in my current situation I will never charge anything for my mods.

the very idea of charging for mods, no matter how good said mod is, is just so asenine. i do appreciate every mod that comes out on the workshop but if you want to get paid for it, make it a full blown dlc. i would pay a few dollars for this mod considering its so extensive. but a mod for ONE SWORD shouldnt cost anything.

Yatagan, what do you think of other developers (Mainly mainly schlangster and the wet and gold dev) charging for their mods? I have to say its a load of :jarate:

I hate this. Everyone is crying abotu the paid mods( me too). But then one of the greatest mods is still free and people still seem to ♥♥♥♥♥ about it. Who cares if in another reality he might've asked money. He doesn't do it now. So smile and keep on playing and thank him.

I couldn't agree even more LOL. However I'm in the works of a dlc like mod.

I would understand this one being valued at expansion price actually, but he already said it is going to be free which people should be thankful for lol.

Your mod worth around 30 hours of gameplay. The only criticism I have is simplistic map.

If this is treated as an expansion, how much you think this deserved?

No, i think the amount of time and effort OP has put into this mod he deserves to earn something about it, i think they should add a donations box instead of paid mods but the option to earn money from mods is encouraging other people to make mods aswell.

By continuing to use mods and letting the authors that make content you like know that you appreciate their work.
