Dreams in Oblivion/Runaway Cow Help
So I had already started Dreams in Oblivion and I was wandering around when I found Warmth's Edge Caverns. I didn't have the Runaway Cow quest yet. I ran around and killed all of the necromancers and I accidentally killed the cow. When I went into the last room I saw the pedestal where the crystal shard is meant to be and it wasn't there. I went to the cow guy for the Runaway Cow after reading about it on the wiki but he wouldn't give it to me. From what I can tell there's no way for me to get that crystal shard, any help? Hopefully all that makes sense. Thanks!!

This issue is currently being investigated. I'll provide a console command solution to unblock you when I have the time (hopefully tomorrow), but for now would you mind loading a save that's in this broken state and entering "SQV FSSQ14" into the console? Please tell me if it's RUNNING or STOPPED, the STAGE, and whether or not all the aliases are filled. (Some may be NONE, etc.)

The state is running, the current stage is 7. The aliases are filled as far as I can tell.

I found out how to reset the quest
disable Audmund, type resetquest fssq14 then reenable him, then type setstage fssq14 2 (if you set it to 1 then audmund is just a questless merchant) and there should be an option when speaking to him "I am available for hire now" then you can proceed with the quest like normal. I was stuck for SO LONG and actually dropped it since i didn't know the ID for the crystal or the id for the quest. Amazing as hell mod but you should list the id's of everything, it helps a lot when people run into bugs :D

I did the same thing, and I would follow the above advice to reset the quest but truthfully, I cannot find the character Audmund anywhere. I've waited at his house, and patrolled around Amber Creek. Any ideas?
