Courier Bag
I think you should add a courier bag, so it would be complete.

It is very sweet * - *, could have the effect of ethereal gem surrounding rex like you're inside the Chronosphere, the rest is perfect

I agree, he definetely looks a little too simplistic and definetely needs a some type of bag/sack. A tiny Chronosphere on his back and then use Time walk animation for his flying.
