Color suggestion
I think the skin would look really awesome if it were Red where there's Blue
I think it will look more appealing as Lions after all eat flesh and are considered kings in the animal kingdom, so the red would resemble more of a royal feel. :)

i would suggest remaking the skin just a little cause it is kinda forgoten and for the color i think blue suits it very well
